1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Kalman Music Lessons scheduling platform at schedule.talkalmanmusic.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kalman Music Lessons provides a scheduling platform that enables music students to book lessons with teachers, manage lesson packages and memberships, and sync schedules with Google Calendar. The Service is operated by Kalman Music Lessons ("we", "our", or "us").

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accounts are created by invitation or through our registration process. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Lesson Scheduling and Cancellation

• Lesson availability is subject to teacher schedules and may change without notice.
• Cancellation and rescheduling policies are set by individual teachers and communicated at the time of booking.
• We are not responsible for lessons that cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances.

5. Payments and Refunds

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Lesson package and membership pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss any billing concerns.

6. Google Calendar Integration

Teachers may connect their Google Calendar to the Service for schedule synchronization. By connecting Google Calendar, you authorize us to:

• Read your calendar events to determine availability.
• Create, update, and delete lesson events on your designated calendar.
• Maintain a sync connection using stored authentication tokens.

You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your account settings. Our use of Google Calendar data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use automated tools to access the Service without our permission.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Kalman Music Lessons and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kalman Music Lessons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed lessons, scheduling errors, or calendar sync issues.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may also request account deletion by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
